With huge regret Fruityloopy Promotions announced this week that the D-Joust 2009 would have to
be cancelled. Outside pressures and commitments to other projects have forced them into making a
touch decision. D-Joust will be back in 2010, head honcho Danny released the following statement
this week:
"We're absolutely gutted not to be able to go ahead with this year's competition. Between us all we've worked very hard to
get the event to where it is now, breaking into Europe making 2008 such a massive year for us.
There's a hell of a lot of work goes into the organisation and without the proper time and
resource available we felt we'd rather hold off for a year than put in a half hearted attempt. Huge apologies
to anyone who's paid their registration fee unnecessarily and to the few that sent their demos
already. All fees will of course be refunded immediately and for anyone who'd like their postage back just
drop me an email to danny@fruityloopy.com. This is not the end
by a long shot, we've come too far and had too much fun to say goodbye just yet. Watch this space y'all!"
